The four sections of understanding on the TSI math test are quantitative reasoning, algebraic reasoning, geometric and spatial reasoning, and probabilistic and statistical reasoning. The questions will primarily be multiple-choice, and you will be asked questions where you have to refer to graphs, diagrams, charts, and tables to get the answers. The TSI math assessment covers four different sections of mathematical reasoning using real-world problems to know where your understanding of elementary and intermediate algebra and functions, geometry measurements, data analysis, and statistics and probability.
